How Fearless Competitions handles personal information and the controls available to you.

Last updated: 10 September 2026. This policy explains how Fearless Competitions handles personal information when you browse, create an account, save or record entries, request reminders, contact us, submit a competition or report a listing.

Information we process

This may include account details; saved competitions and entry history; followed brands; reminder preferences; browser push subscription identifiers; submissions and reports; messages; security/technical logs; and consent or preference information.

Why we use it

We use information to provide requested account features, synchronise activity, deliver opted-in reminders, secure and maintain the service, respond to enquiries, review submissions and reports, comply with law and improve Fearless Competitions where permitted.

Legal bases

Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to provide a service you requested, based on legitimate interests in operating and securing Fearless Competitions, required by law, or based on consent. Marketing and non-essential advertising or analytics technologies are treated separately from transactional competition reminders.

Cookies and browser storage

Necessary storage supports login, security, region preferences and competition state. Non-essential analytics and advertising technologies must follow the Cookie Policy and applicable consent requirements.

Third parties

Hosting, email, push, security, analytics, consent-management and advertising providers may process information when those services are enabled. Competition entry normally occurs on the promoter or retailer website, whose own privacy policy applies.

Retention

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for account operation, the relevant purpose, security, dispute handling and legal obligations. Available account controls can remove competition history.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. You may complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office where applicable.

International transfers and security

Some providers may process information outside Ireland, the EEA or UK using appropriate safeguards where required. We use reasonable measures to protect the service, although no online system is risk-free.
