A beginner’s first week with competition entering
A simple seven-day approach to learning the basics without trying to enter everything at once.
Starting with competitions can feel overwhelming because entry methods, eligibility rules and prize types vary. A first week is better used to build a sensible process than to chase the largest possible number of entries.
Day one: choose your interests
Decide which prizes you would genuinely like and which entry methods you are comfortable using. This makes every later decision faster.
Day two: learn the rules
Read a few complete sets of terms. Notice how promoters describe eligibility, closing dates, entry limits and winner contact.
Day three: enter a small selection
Choose straightforward competitions that clearly fit your eligibility. Keep any confirmation or proof the terms require.
Day four: try saving and tracking
Save a repeat-entry competition and record your activity if that helps. Do not build a huge list yet.
Days five to seven: refine
Explore ending-soon, free-entry and prize filters. Remove anything that does not suit you and read Fearless safety guidance before responding to any winner message.
A useful routine grows from understanding, not volume. There is no target number of competitions you need to enter.
